I don’t want to jump to conclusions, or count my chickens before they hatch or anything, but could it be that I’ve already adapted, and that this really is not that hard at all?
WED AUG 10
10:00-10:30
Successful nap. Don’t recall a dream though.
14:00-14:30
To be honest, I’m writing this at 2:50, so I don’t really remember exactly if I dreamed or not. I don’t think I slept very much though.
18:00
Missed my nap because I had been out earlier, came home, made dinner and started watching Die Harder. With about a half hour left in the movie, I felt myself trying to fall asleep, so we paused it.
19:40-20:30
Napped for a normal half hour, woke up at my alarm and decided I wanted another half hour. Got up at the second alarm, and finished watching the movie.

THURS AUG 11
2:15-2:35
Nap. Spouse woke me up coming to bed, since I nap there when he’s otherwise occupied. Nap cut short by ten minutes, but I don’t know how long I actually slept. Don’t recall a dream.

6:30-7:00
Nap. No dream, but feel alert.
_____
I don’t really have much to add here. It’s basically the same thing every day :P
Unlike Steve Pavlina, I’ve never had a consistent schedule of sleep, PLUS I was used to being awake mostly at night. It’s probably due to those factors that I don’t have the same sense of … timelessness as he did. It is a little weird with no clear divisions between night and day, but similar things happened on the days that I was up for over 24 hours. Sometimes a nap feels like no time has passed at all, while others feel like hours, or in the cases of sleeping for 12 hours, something like that. Sleeping that long kinda made me groggy and still feel tired, so my worst naps make me feel just like that. Definitely not a new sensation, but it’s becoming rarer.
Also I can’t really say that it feels like time is passing slower. It’s been almost a week, and it kinda feels about right. I’ve never really had a good concept of time though.
